As an Information Security Architect, you'll help decide how security gets built into new products from day one, from mobile payments to the secure use of AI, while also stepping in as a senior responder when things go wrong. What you’ll do: Design and build core acquiring capabilities, including authorisation, clearing and settlement processing. Work closely with teams across Processing, Reconciliation, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Treasury. Contribute to architecture discussions and make sound technical decisions in an ambiguous, evolving domain. Take ownership of medium-to-large technical initiatives that span multiple teams. Identify and help prioritise technical debt, operational risks and opportunities to improve the platform. You’ll be great for this role if you have: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on experience with Go . Experience building and consuming APIs in production environments. Understanding of software architecture, design principles, data modelling, API design and SOLID principles. Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases; experience with PostgreSQL and Kafka is valuable. Practical experience with Docker, AWS and Kubernetes.
