We’re looking for a Senior C++/iOS Engineer to join the Baldur squad within User Platform (UP). Baldur owns Spotify’s Session Management and Delegated Authorization domains—the systems that enable applications to securely obtain, use, and manage access tokens for hundreds of millions of users. In this role, you’ll help shape the technology that powers secure access across every Spotify client and third-party integration. Your work will support engineers across Spotify building mobile and desktop experiences, platform teams, and third-party developers integrating with Spotify’s authorization platform. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to build secure, reliable, and scalable authentication experiences that have a direct impact on millions of people every day.

We’re looking for an Android Engineer to join a highly collaborative team working at the intersection of mobile development, data, and platform systems. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Subscriptions Mission. This team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. Our team grows Spotify’s audience by finding future listeners around the world and delivering the right value to them, at the right time. With research, product development, product design, engineering, and marketing all collaborating in one organization, we’re able to quickly create meaningful features and services for millions of people around the world, resulting in joyful, long-lasting relationships with Spotify. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will participate in building and maintaining the systems responsible for driving user conversion, retention and upsells together with other R&D teams, Marketing and Growth. The team is uniquely positioned to play a key role in a new effort to strengthen our platform capabilities in this area to support the rapidly growing business needs of the ever-changing product portfolio. We are moving towards a more user focused, contextual conversion, retention and upsell experience that is less manually operated, and more consistent across channels, using levers like machine learning and personalisation. We want to solve this through a platformised approach utilising new systems for decision-making on what we want users to see combined with a content management solution that can handle all the necessary complexities.

We built them by understanding the world of music and podcasts better than anyone else. You’ll join a team working at the intersection of machine learning, music understanding, and user experience. We focus on generating music sessions powering experiences like systems that power conversational playlist generation to give users more adaptive and intuitive control over what they listen to. This team collaborates closely with product, design, user research, and data science to build personalized, high-impact features used by hundreds of millions of listeners worldwide.

The Music Mission enables music creators to grow, engage, and monetize their fan bases on Spotify. Central to the Music Mission's vision is the development of promotional tools for artists and label teams, powered by Spotify's deep knowledge of listener behavior. Products like Discovery Mode, Marquee, Showcase, Music Videos, and Clips help artists and their teams grow their audiences, connect with fans, and achieve their goals on Spotify. We're looking for a Data Scientist to join Discovery Mode within the Music Mission. Discovery Mode is a tool for artists and music marketers designed to help find new listeners when it matters most. With Discovery Mode, artists and labels identify songs that are a priority, and our systems use that signal to inform the algorithms that power personalized recommendations. This role sits within the ML squad that builds and operates the models behind Discovery Mode's measurement system, and you'll serve as the squad's analytical lead. In this role, you'll partner closely with product managers and ML engineers to evaluate and improve the models that power Discovery Mode. You'll tackle complex analytical problems by designing experiments, developing evaluation frameworks, and building the analytical foundations that help keep our models accurate, reliable, and impactful for artists. As part of the Product Insights team within Music Mission, you'll help shape the measurement systems behind one of Spotify's most important promotion products.

Within the Data Platform studio, we own two critical pillars: our event delivery platform that collects trillions of events per day from producers to consumers, and another, which handles the pseudonymisation of data so Spotify can use data responsibly and in compliance with privacy regulations. These systems sit at the heart of Spotify's data collection and are used by hundreds of teams across the company. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of six experienced engineers distributed across Europe. You'll set the technical direction, ensure the team delivers high-impact work, and - just as importantly - invest deeply in the growth and careers of your engineers.
