The Role We're looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to join our Customer Value Optimization (CVO) tribe at HelloFresh. The role: What's in the Box The Foundations Alliance builds the tools and infrastructure that empower engineering teams across HelloFresh. Cloud Runtime sits at the center of it: we provide a reliable and highly performant multi-cluster container platform so that every HelloFresh engineer can deploy services with 99.99% uptime, high performance, low latency, and minimal operational overhead. As Engineering Manager for Cloud Runtime, you will lead a squad of platform engineers who own the container platform, networking, and traffic routing that more than 1,000 production services depend on across Europe, North America, and Australia and New Zealand. You will partner closely with our Product Manager to turn a defined platform strategy into a roadmap the team can execute, and you will be accountable for the reliability and cost of what we run. About the role: What's in the Box As a Staff Engineer in our Supply Chain Management organization, you will be responsible for defining, securing, and implementing technical solutions for business problems. You will play a critical role as our systems scale to handle a jump from 1.2 million to over 2.4 million produced boxes per week due to recent software product consolidation. You will look after speeding up development, decision-making, and problem-solving.
