This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality programs, inspection plans, and audit processes to ensure installations, systems, and deliverables meet contractual requirements, engineering standards, and applicable codes. This is a full-time, onsite position located at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA.

ERG is seeking a Quality Assurance/Safety Specialist to support explosives safety, occupational safety and health (OSH), and quality assurance activities within explosives/energetics processing and decontamination environments. This position will support the safe execution of operations by conducting hazard analyses, evaluating material potentially presenting an explosive hazard (MPPEH), and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards, regulations, and procedures. This full-time position is at the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Indian Head. Indian Head, Maryland, is approximately 30 miles from Washington, D.C., 25 miles from Alexandria, Virginia, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, Virginia.
