What You Will Bring to ChargePoint Design and implement embedded control systems for power factor correction (PFC), grid-tie, grid-forming inverters, bidirectional chargers, DC/DC converters, and related power electronics. Stay updated on advancements in digital control technologies and controllers. Validate design concepts through both computer simulations and hands-on laboratory testing. Create automated test cases for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) modelling and testing, where applicable. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Control Engineering and Power Electronics, specifically for next-generation fast-charging products. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of ChargePoint's fleet software platforms in North America and Europe — from maintaining and evolving our existing solutions such as ViriCiti to defining and building new platforms for emerging segments including truck and autonomous vehicle fleets.
